The Work of the Project

Supporting the work of the project

The work of the project is supported by an Executive Advisory Group consisting of the 2 national DPOs in Scotland; Inclusion Scotland and the Scottish Disability Equality Forum.  The EAG supports ILiS in the design and delivery of the ILiS project, ensuring that what ILiS does is what disabled people want it to do. 

The Executive Advisory Group are:

  • Dr Jim Elder-Woodward OBE – Convenor of the Scottish Independent Living Coalition and co-Convenor of the National Independent Living Programme Board
  • Heather Fisken – Project Manager, Independent Living in Scotland Project
  • Susan Grasekamp – Manager, Scottish Disability Equality Forum
  • Tressa Burke – Convenor of Inclusion Scotland
  • Jackie Maceira – Convenor of the Scottish Disability Equality Forum
  • Sally Witcher – Chief Executive Officer of Inclusion Scotland

The convenors of the 2 national DPOs in Scotland (Inclusion Scotland and the Scottish Disability Forum) sit on the EAG and they also convene the Scottish Independent Living Coalition (SILC).
