Need advice, support and assistance?

This page

Here you will find links to many organisations in Scotland and the UK, working to promote independent living and to provide services that support it. Some of these organisations are Disabled People's Organisations (DPO's) and others are not. Disabled People's Organisations are those controlled by disabled people and where 51% of their board are disabled people. For more information on the difference between DPO's and non DPO's, click here to read "It's our world too". Disabled People's Organisations in this links page will be marked with "DPO" after their title. You will also find information here on organisations that can help you to campaign for your rights.
